coorvid is the family name for crows and ravens — birds long associated with intelligence, adaptability, and the capacity to learn from observation. These qualities felt like an fitting foundation for a company built around applied intelligence.
We were founded in Hong Kong in 2019 by a small group of practitioners who had spent years working on AI and data projects across finance, logistics, and retail. What we noticed was consistent: organisations often had more data than they knew what to do with, and less clarity about where AI could genuinely help than the surrounding noise suggested.
Our response was to build something smaller and more deliberate. coorvid does not take on every engagement. We focus on problems where we believe AI can provide meaningful, measurable value — and we say so when we do not think that is the case.
Today we work primarily with medium-sized organisations across Hong Kong and the greater region, on projects ranging from two-week exploratory engagements to multi-month development contracts.

AI practice in Hong Kong

Working from Sha Tin's Science Park places us within one of Hong Kong's principal hubs for applied technology research. We draw on that proximity — through professional networks, academic exchange, and shared infrastructure — while remaining focused on the specific challenges our clients face in the field.
Our work spans computer vision, predictive analytics, and structured data modelling. We do not pursue AI for its own sake. Each project begins from a defined business question and ends with a measured outcome. The technology is a means, not a destination.
